It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jolie Williams Childers of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Vera Nell Lewis Williams. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Childers; her children, Jamie Childers Lester of Stanley and Nicholas Childers of Gastonia; and her grandson Gage Lester.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Animal League of Gaston County, 425 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052 or Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
