With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Dale Hibberts (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hibberts and Aliene Hibberts; his daughter Melissa Ann Hibberts; and his brothers, Roger and Darrell Hibberts.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hibberts; his daughter Tina Smith (Dale); his brother Gary Hibberts (Lynn); his grandchildren, Kelsey Hibberts, Brisen Hibberts, Macey Thompson (Chase) and Taylor Thompson (Houston); and his great grandchildren, Coltyn Perry, Emma Perry, Bentley Carringer and Beckham Carriger. He is also survived by his family and was a faithful husband for over 51 years, his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
