He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heckelman Sr. and Dorothy Cheryl Carhart; and his uncles, Jeff Heckelman and Joseph Heckelman (Jay). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Heckelman Jr.; his children, Cheryl-Ann Heckelman, Danielle Binkley (Daniel), Vincent Heckelman (Cait Gale), Geoffrey Heckelman and Allen Heckelman; his stepparents, Joanne Heckelman Sr. and Lowell Carhart; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jayleigh, Kinsley, Damien, Kayden, Marckus, Teresa and Ayden-Lee; his aunt Jackie Klouser (Leroy); and his uncle Jimmy Heckelman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Trey and Michele Armstrong.
