With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Green Huffman (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thadeous Arthur Green and Cora Gibby Wiggins; her husband George William Huffman; and her siblings, T. A. Green, Homer Green, Harold Green, Clarence Green, Clint Green, Glenna Stewart and Burdell Foutz.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Huffman, Rev. Scott Huffman (Carol), Teresa Hall (Rex) and Yvette Lusk (Perry); her grandchildren, Chad Hall (Crystal), Jennifer Thomas (Chad), Jessica Dover (Darren), Lucas Huffman, Ryan Huffman and Christina Huffman; and her great grandchildren, Landon Hall, McKenzie Dover, Peyton Dover and Carson Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springwood Church of God, 1007 Hickory Grove Road, Gastonia, NC 28056.
