Joan Ruth Rumfelt Hoffman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ruth Rumfelt Hoffman of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Lacy Poole Rumfelt and Conner Graham Rumfelt; her husband Nelson P. Hoffman; and her siblings, Lloyd Nelson Rumfelt, Graham Coolidge Rumfelt, George Harding Rumfelt, Susan Samantha Rumfelt and Dorothy Classec Rumfelt Wyatt.

She is survived by: her daughter Diane Hoffman Kenney; her son-in-law Robert Kenney; her daughter Bobbie Hoffman Mathieu; her sister Jean Rumfelt Robinson; and her grandchildren, Janna Kenney, Morgan Mathieu Tran, Allen Tran, Andrew, Kassidy Kenney, Seth Mathieu and Macy Barfield.
