He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Mae McAlister (Cooper) and Grady Ardell McAlister; his wife Frances McAlister; and his son Jimmy Ray McAlister, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Myers, Larry Tarbush, Donald Tarbush and Jeremy McAlister. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, six brothers and five sisters.
