He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clyde Eason and Naomi Johnson Eason Mauldin; and his son Jason Eason. He is survived by: his wife Kay Porter Eason; his son Dennis Eason (Leigh) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Lizanne Vermett of Gastonia, Justin, Kayleigh, Cameron Eason of Gastonia and Jalyn Eason of Bessemer City; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Brantley, Colten, Hayven and Cayson; and his sister Betty Eason. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
