He is survived by: his wife Vickey Rudd Wright of Gastonia; and his children, Regina Norris of Gastonia, Rhonda Akers (Richard) of Bessemer City, Jimmy "Wayne" Wright (Jeannie) of Blacksburg, SC, Vickey Lynn Hale (Justin) of Kings Mountain and Carl "Matthew" Wright of Gastonia. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
