It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Brandenburg (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Madison, Arkansas, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Poole Brandenburg; and his brother Ray Brandenburg. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sigmon (Keith) and Billy Brandenburg (Karen); his grandchildren, Leslie Smith (Josh), Terra Brandenburg, Nicole Butler, Misty Brandenburg and Brittany Brandenburg; and his pal Glenda "Sissy" Dubetsky. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and several brothers.

Memorials may be made to local animal shelters, as we all know how he loved to rescue animals.
