He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deaton and Evelyn Deaton; and his siblings, Judy Deaton and Tom Deaton. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Valdez (Rey) and Phillip Deaton (Denise); his siblings, Jackie Snipes (Dimp) and James "Jim" Deaton; his grandchildren, Amanda Deaton, Wyatt Deaton, Justin Deaton, Danielle Starnes and Amelia Valdez; and his former wife Julia Deaton. He is also survived by numerous other family members and dear friends.
