With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeremy Wayne Cummings of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Charleston, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Randall Cummings; his uncle James Richard Cummings; and his grandparents, Frances Shafer, Elvin Shafer, James Cummings and Merle Cummings.
He is survived by: his mother Mitzie Cummings; his children, Laura Cummings, Nathaniel and James Cummings; his wife Tanya Cummings; his sister Jennifer Cummings (Danny Phillips); and his nieces and nephews, Chance Cummings, Lilly Phillips and Thomas Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Flint Groves Baptist Church (2017 E Ozark Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
