He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Taylor and Annie Mae Taylor; his wife Nealette "Cricket" Taylor; his daughter Shelia Talyor; his siblings, Bertie Mae Morris, Elizabeth Taylor, Martha Smith, JB Taylor and Leroy Taylor; and his pet Puddles.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Stiles (William) of Gastonia, NC, Alice Crowe (Samuel) of Easley, SC, Rita Hulett of Dallas, NC, Tracie Blanton of Dallas and Teddy Blanton, Jr. (Donna) of Kings Mountain, NC; his grandchildren, Jason Stiles, Jonathan Stiles, Jasmine Dameron, Tony Crowe, Todd Crowe, Nikki Crowe, Mikayla Colvin, Natasha Newman, Justin Tench, Andy Tench, Lauren Blanton, Shane Blanton, Jamie Blanton, Alfred Duncan, Shaney Crews and Michael Crews; and his siblings, Coy Taylor and Doris Cole.
