She was predeceased by: her parents, Millie Raxter (Turbyville) and Lester D. Raxter; and her siblings, Glenda Anthony (Raxter) and K. D. "Bob" Raxter. She is survived by: her siblings, Hayward D. "Rex" Raxter and Judy Ferebee (Randy) of Tryon, NC; her brother-in-law Flay Anthony; and also Wanda Anthony. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorials may be made in Jeralene's name to Victory Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
