She was predeceased by: her parents, James Matthew Ellis and Minnie Bruce Sharpe Ellis; and her brother Gregory Nelson Ellis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church (217 W Todd Ln, Charlotte, NC 28208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
