He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ralph Hale, Sr. and Willie Mae Harris Hale. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Hale; his grandchildren, Matthew Hale and Blake Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Juanita, B. J. Withers and Doris Dover.
