James Harold Jones Obituary

James (Jim) H. Jones passed away unexpectedly on January 19th, 2022, at home.

He was born on june 1st, 1943, to parents John S. and Beatrice L. Jones.

Jim graduated from Ashley High School in Gastonia and was a U.S. Airforce veteran. He was retired from a career in engineering. Jim liked to read and do sudoku puzzles and was an extremely intelligent man.

He was a kind man and stayed to himself and didn't bother anybody. He always said "If you can't say something good about somebody, then don't say anything at all." And he lived by that.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his wife Linda Trimnal Jones; brothers, Gene Jones of Gastonia, Jerry Jones of Orlando, Florida, Tommy Jones of Gastonia, and Randall Jones of Dallas, NC; sister, Kathy Jones of Gastonia; niece, Susan Shackleford of Florida; brother-in-law and best friend, Bobby Trimnal of Gastonia.

Jim is survived by his sisters; Sandra Christopher of Bessemer City and Janet Coleman of Gastonia; sisters-in-law, Becky Jones of Florida and Patsy Gaddis of Gastonia. And many nieces and nephews in NC and Florida that he loved and was also loved by.

He will be missed very much by all.

Per Jim's request, no funeral services will be conducted.
