It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Everette Jenkins Sr. (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on September 3, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ada Mae Bradley Jenkins; and his son Kerry B. Jenkins. He is survived by: his children, Karen Jenkins Phillips and James "Jamie" Jenkins, Jr. (Deanna); his daughter-in-law DeAnne Jenkins; his sister-in-law Murriel Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Lisa Parlier, Jodi Scates, Brandy Moseley, Lindsey Calhoun and Justin Jenkins. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church and Gaston Hospice.
