It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James David Campbell of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Darwin Campbell and Edna Allen Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelin "Jackie" Campbell; his children, David Kennerly (Deborah), James "Doug" Campbell (Jacqui) and Katie Powers (Kevin); his sister Eleanor C. Hole; his grandchildren, Zachary Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Mirtnesh, Namande Campbell, Casey Powers (Jennifer) and Erin Powers; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Vinson and Ellody Evans.
