He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Price Schrum; his daughter Eva Anna; and his parents, Mary Pinkney Schrum and Marvin Howard Schrum of Dallas. He is survived by: his son Dr. Jacob Dale Schrum; his daughter-in-law Dr. Stefanie Schrum; his grandchildren, Chris (Becca Schrum), Michael (Becca Schrum) and Tyler (Sarah Wathen); and his great grandchild Jacob.
