He is survived by: his spouse Janice Edward Hovis; his children, Barry Hovis, Luke Hovis (Courtney), Paula Abee, Trisha Connell (Tim), Monica Dockery and Melissa McMahan; his siblings, Mike Hovis and Kay Shick of Pat Davis; his aunt Ramona Haney; his grandchildren, Daniel Hovis, Josh Hovis, Justin Huggins, Logan Abee, Anslee Connell, Addison Connell, Journey Hovis, Preston Dockery, Raelyn Dockery and Brayden Alvey; and his great grandchild Veda Huggins.
