With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Naomi Hornbuckle of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nixon and Sue Nixon; her husband Hal Hornbuckle; her daughter Iris Helms; her sister Polly O'Donohue; and her granddaughter Jessica Helms.
She is survived by: her son Tim Hornbuckle (Ginger); her grandchildren, Mandy Beaudry (Mark), Jennifer Hornbuckle (Patrick Lewalter), Amy Greene (Josh), Alisha Pruette (David), Katherine Taylor (Patrick) and Adam Helms (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Hornbuckle, Gavin Beaudry, Aubree Greene, Gabe Greene, Chloe Greene, Savannah Pruette and Mckenna Helms.
