He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Spoford Hunter and Dora Caroline Baker Hunter; his son Cecil Bruce Hunter (Trudy); and his grandsons, Cecil Bruce Hunter, Jr. and Jason Grant Hunter.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Ray Hunter (Phyliss); his sisters, Onedia Grier, Mary Rollings and Robbie Walters (Keith Walters); his grandchildren, Kelly Clark (Patrick Clark), Jeremy Hunter (Wendy) and Ashley Clark; and his wife Ruth M. Hunter. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
