He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul White and Helen Mitchell White. He is survived by: his children, Alex White of Greenville, S. C. and Bailey White of Chapel Hill, N. C; the parent of his children Lynn Reece of Gastonia; his brother Dink White (Tammy) of Gastonia; his nephew Justin White (Jackie); his niece Brandi Walker; his children, Adrian Tinkey (Jamey) and Katie Marshall; his grandson Michael Tinkey; and his friends, Tim Efird, Tom Efird, Paxton Fayssoux, Mike Murphey, Matt Miller, Stephen Stout, Kenny Pruitt, Pearson Flowers and Randy Bean.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to the Gastonia Boys & Girls Club, Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, or Gastonia Hospice.
