He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McAlwine Beaty and Francis Lula Moss Beaty; and his son-in-law Billy King. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Smith Beaty; his siblings, Carl Beaty, Marcus Beaty, Pauline Hinkle and Hazel Hart; his children, Karen King of Gastonia, Theresa Wright (Billy) of Kings Mountain, Starr Dixon (Greg) of Gastonia and Nicky Isenhour of Cramerton; his grandchildren, Chevis King, Nathan King (Angie), Jobe Waters (Lorie) and Jude Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Ethan King, Zoey Bell, Trevor Jeffers, Blake Waters, Beaty Waters and Tessa Waters. He is also survived by family and friends.
