He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Jernigan and Lou Edna White Jernigan. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jernigan; his children, Mike Jernigan and Melanie; and his son-in-law David Jennings. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
