He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Fredrick Sauerwein and Dorothy Frank Sauerwein; and his wife Beverly Ann Miller Sauerwein. He is survived by: his children, Eric Sauerwein (Debbie), Elizabeth Ann Alexander and Melissa Nguyen; his grandchildren, Stacey Saunders, Shannon Lingerfelt (Steven), Megan Smith (Drew), Daniel Nguyen and Tyler Nguyen; his great grandchildren, Alex Smith, Aden Smith, Natalie Smith and Jackson Smith; and his sister-in-law Pat Zymowski (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
