With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hardwick Smith (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Unadilla, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Toombs Smith and Montie Berryman Smith; his wife Betty Allen Smith; and his sister Helen Hoogerwerf. He is survived by: his children, Perry Lee Smith (Linda), Keith Dale Smith, Patrick D. Smith (Kristi) and Sharon A. Smith Dohm (Larry); his grandchildren, Justin, Beth, Blake and Brooke Smith; and his great grandchildren, Kayden and McKenzie Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
