Grant Griggs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grant Griggs of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Marble, North Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Crisp Griggs Grant; his wife Donnie Gail Ledford Griggs; and his siblings, Francis Carroll, Pearl Griggs, Marcell Griggs, Vincent Griggs, Porter Griggs and Gene Griggs.

He is survived by: his sons, David Griggs (Linda) and Travis Griggs (Carol); his siblings, Charles Griggs (Sara), Rod Griggs (Judy), Mickey Griggs (Deloris), May Coffey and Linda Parsons (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Taylor Griggs, Tyler Griggs, Grant Griggs and Darian Blaney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1915 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.
