She is survived by: her brother Charlie Murphy (Barbara); her sister-in-law Jeanne L. Rawlings; her nieces and nephews, Kim Tidwell (Keith), Melinda Rohm (Mike), Alice Edmonson (Chris), Chris Murphy, Mike Murphy, Gaye Murphy, Tracy Murphy and Gary Gunter (Sarah); and her stepchildren, David W. Smith III, Elizabeth S. Des Champs and Charlotte S. White.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Gastonia, 190 E. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054 or to the charity of donor's choice.
