She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Crabtree and Ona Crabtree; and her son Robert Paul Chanon, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Paul Chanon; her son Randy Way of Hendersonville, NC; and her sisters, Jewel Dehart of Durham, NC and Katherine Peery of Reidsville, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
