He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Sawyer and Mary Marcus Sawyer; and his siblings, Louise Moore, Helen McNamara, Lavada Silvers, Hal Sawyer and Paul Sawyer.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Wells Sawyer; his son Kevin Sawyer (Wendy); his grandchildren, Hunter Sawyer and Braydon Sawyer; and his great grandchild Harper Sawyer.
