He is survived by: his wife Vickie Nivens; his daughter Taylor Nivens; his sisters, Kathy Kiser (Keith) and Cindy Digh (Dwayne); his sister-in-law Karen Malone; his mother-in-law Barbara Carver; his nieces and nephews, Suzanne Kiser Beam, Liz Carver, Patrick Kiser, Hunter Digh, Derrick Digh and Cody Digh; and his pets, Zelda and Allie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Gaston Humane Society.
