He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Rutherford and Billie Jo Combs Rutherford. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rutherford; his children, Kerry Dillon (Ralph) of Huntersville, NC and John Rutherford (Elizabeth) of Murphy, NC; his grandchildren, Grace, Sam Rutherford, Katie, Maggie and Molly Dillon; and his siblings, Jim Rutherford (Becky) of Bristol, TN and Theda Calhoun (David) of Bristol, TN. He is also survived by 1 niece and 3 nephews.
