He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Gilmore Edwards and Mary Alene Teal Edwards; and his brothers, Homer "Edwin" Edwards and Charles "Rodney" Edwards. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Edwards Harrison; his sisters, Mildred Drew and Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Honeycutt (George); and the mother of his child Delores Marsh Burroughs (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
