He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Clayton Clubb and Onnie Strickland Clubb; his wife Janice Walker Clubb; and his siblings, Joe Clubb, Ken Clubb, Ruby Teeter, Virginia Phillips, Helen Hart and Jessie Kunkle.
He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Messer (Brent) and Gary Clubb, Jr. (Sherry); his grandchildren, Erin Messer (Michael Phillips), Ben Messer (Blair Brown) and Luke Clubb (Kate); and his great grandchildren, Makenzie Phillips, Savannah and Sydney Clubb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The United Way of Gaston County special fund to help the homeless.
