He is survived by: his friend James Chandler; his wife Betty White Parsons; his children, Gary Parsons, Jr. of Gastonia, Judy Heffner of Gastonia, Trina Hudson of Gastonia, Larry Barker (Jennifer) of Gastonia and Cheryl Barker of Gastonia; his friend Bruce Fowler; and his sister-in-law Lillie Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
