It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry Lee Ferguson of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Ferguson and Jackie Ferguson; and his siblings, Brenda Ferguson Lunsford and Jerry Wayne Ferguson. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Franklin Ferguson (Jenny), Garry Lee Ferguson, II, Paula Dionnan Ferguson, Sheryl Lynn Ferguson and Elitta Ferguson; and his close friends, Jason Miller, Doug Parks, Charlie Williams, James Hughes and Poe Long. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three aunts; two uncles; several nieces and nephews.
