She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Franklin Whitesides and Mami Long Whitesides; her husband Mike Elza Moss of Greenville, SC; her son Danny Michael Moss; and her siblings, Major Franklin Whitesides, Jr., Barbara Ann Whitesides, Betty Joe McPherson, Lilly Ion Poole and Linda Sue Alexander.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Jane Moss Boyd; her grandchildren, James V. Boyd (Diana), Rebecca Jane Harris and Dan Moss, Jr. (Angie); her great grandchildren, Geno Deon Barnett, James, Jerry Boyd, Emily Harris, Elizabeth Marie Boyd, Dayton and Tollington "Tolly" Moss; her great great grandchild Zion M'Kai Barnett; her granddaughter Tracy (J. B. Bonner); and her daughter-in-law Diana Boyd.
