Frances Marie Pope Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Marie Pope (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Crisp and Esther Crisp; her husband Henry Pope; her daughter Linda Pope Scott; and her siblings, Virgil Crisp, Christine Classen, Wilma Jean "Wimpy" Crisp and Velma Ervin.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Pope (Trudy); her sister Lena Wooten; her grandchildren, Amy Gardner (Lee), Dannie Pope, Anthony Pope (Lauren), Lynn Scott and Greg Gardner; her great grandchildren, Josh Hill, Jamie Gardner, SaraBeth Gardner (Church), Easten Pope, Deakin Pope, Braylon Pope, Ashtyn Pope, Nathan Oxendine, Telinda Pate, Jadon Canady, Jacob Scott, Darrius McKoy and Jadarrion McKoy; and her great great grandchild Zeb Lee Paul Banner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Service South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054.
