We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2019, at the age of 85, Frances Jeanette Wise (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Smith (Messick) and Oscar Smith; her husband Samuel Joseph Wise, Jr.; and her brothers, Clarence Smith, Gene Smith, George Hall and Graham Hall.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Wise (Rowena) of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Joseph Allen Wise, William Ray Wise and Catherine Marie Pluguez; her great grandchildren, Lilly and Will Jr. Wise; and her brother Donald Smith (Etta).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jeanette's name to South Marietta Street Baptist Church, 911 South Marietta Street, Gastonia, NC 28054.
