She was predeceased by: her father Carl N.; her husband James Robert Carter (Bob); her children, James Eric Carter and Lisa J. Carter; and her brother Stan Ervin.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Carter Pasour (Mike); her siblings, Jack Ervin (Polly), Nelson Ervin, Andy Ervin and Linda Cronan; her grandchildren, Christopher Pasour, Jessica Pasour Summey (Chad), Payton Carter Howell (Jeremy), Bleu Carter (Darian), Abbey Carter and Hunter Carter; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Summey and Jeremiah Carter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
