She was predeceased by: her father Hubert Samuel; her husband George McQuilla Cauthen, Sr.; and her siblings, Fred High, Charles High, Clyde High, Samuel High, Judson High, Rachel Kiser, Elizabeth Baucom, Inez Harris and Ida Mae Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, George McQuilla Cauthen, Jr. (Vickie) and Richard Cauthen; and her siblings, Paul High (Pat) and Shirley Caldwell. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
