He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Edward Parker and Betty Nichols Parker; his significant other Sharon Shamblin Parker; and his sister Ruah Schwamb (Peggy Cobb Parker). He is survived by: his daughters, Lorraine Patterson (Chad Dorn) and Kristen Clippard (David); his brother Steve Parker; and his grandchildren, Holly Brunetti (Christian), Lauren Patterson, Nathan Clippard and Carleigh Clippard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and stepdaughters.
