She is survived by: her children, Richard Armstrong, Jr. (Erica) of Statesville, N. C., Earl Steven Armstrong (Martha) of Gastonia, N. C. and Iris Armstrong Thomas (John) of Charlotte, N. C.; her granddaughters, Ann Lauren Armstrong (Antwan) of Summerfield, N. C. and Richlyn Jamia Armstrong of Hickory, N. C.; and her great grandchildren, Archer, Avery Bates, Arabella Armstrong and Aleahya Dinh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
