She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Eaton and Etta Eaton; and her grandson Alex Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Shealey; and her daughters, Brandy Guardado, Michelle Hicks and Holly Hodge. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
