She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pannell and Bessie Pannell; her husband Elton Joseph Brazell; and her siblings, Chester, Jack Pannell, Sadie Halk, Ella Dietz, Vergie Brooks and Burlee Pannell.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Hoffman (Ervin); her granddaughters, Erin Huffstetler (Cody) and Amy Brown (Josh); her great grandchildren, Evan Escobedo, Anna Inscoe (Josh) and Corbin Brown; and her niece Barbara Henry.
