We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ethel Johnson (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Union, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ethel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ethel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Stroud and Ethel Hill Stroud.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gregory Funeral Service (315 S Chestnut St, Gastonia, NC 28054). Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Friendship Christian Church (221 W Bradley Ave, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
