She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Kimbrell and Carlton Kimbrell; her significant other Though; her husband James E. Ratchford, Sr.; her children, Jim Ratchford, Jr. (Linda), Susan Rickman (Joe) of Gastonia and Patrick Ratchford of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jennifer Weegar (Scott), Laura Holden (Brian), Katie Ratchford and Hanna Vohs (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Conner Weegar, Lindy and Landen Vohs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 5615 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28056.
