She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Gordon and Bernice Crawford; and her husband Rufus Clinton. She is survived by: her children, Victor Clinton (Barbara Clinton), Rosalind Prescott (Julius Prescott) and Darrell Clinton; her grandchildren, Alexis and Avery Prescott; and her close friend Teretha Jackson.
