He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Galveston Hardee and Ida Hughes Hardee; his wife Sarah Joanne Hardee; and his sons, Billy Hardee and Gary Hardee.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Hardee (Pam), Beth Champion (Pete), Jeff Hardee (Kelly) and Alan Hardee (Jenny); and his sister Geraldine Stubblefield. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
